I'm Dr David Nguyen, a GP in Glenelg focused on genuine, whole-person care. Longer appointments. Evidence-based medicine. A doctor who actually listens.
I trained at the University of Adelaide and completed specialist GP training as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). I've built my practice at Pro Health Care Glenelg for the long term, and I'm not going anywhere.
I love everything about general practice, the variety, the relationships, and the privilege of being someone's doctor across all stages of life. I have particular clinical interests in preventive health, men's health, mental wellbeing, chronic disease, lifestyle medicine, and weight management, but I'm passionate about all aspects of GP care.
Every appointment is longer than average, enough time to be properly heard and leave with a clear plan. New patients are always welcome.

Appointments here are longer than average, enough time to be properly heard, ask questions, and leave with a clear plan. Good medicine takes time, and rushed consultations don't serve anyone.
Telehealth is available for existing patients who have attended in person within the past 12 months, or who are registered via MyMedicare. If you're a new patient, your first appointment needs to be in person.
Yes, absolutely. I'm GPMHSC accredited, which means I can prepare Mental Health Treatment Plans, giving you a referral pathway to psychology and allied health support directly through your GP. Mental health is a core part of general practice, not a separate thing.
